Training Programs

• Mediation Certificate Course (conforms to M.G.L 233 s. 23c requirements) – This 30 hour training program is one of the most popular offered by DRS. Conforming to state requirements for Mediators’ Confidentiality Protection, the Mediation Certificate Course provides trainees with the skills, techniques and practice they need to become successful mediators.
• Conflict Management Training – With workplace conflict on the rise, the leader who can manage conflict will not only ensure a safe organization, but a productive one as well. This flexible one day course can be customized to suit the exact needs of any organization and provides trainees with hands on experience in addressing the conflicts they face on a daily basis.
• Student/Staff Peer Mediation Certificate Course – Through this flexible 24 hour course, DRS has assisted many schools in developing their own ability to mediate conflict. Hundreds of area students and teachers have learned and are using DRS mediation techniques to create a safer and more effective learning environment for their school.
• Violence Prevention Training – Students need to learn how to resolve conflict and avoid its dangerous escalation potential. DRS accomplishes this task through its Violence Prevention Training Program by teaching students how to manage anger, communicate better and negotiate successfully in a complex, changing world.
